Service Disclaimers

 Bug/Rodent Infestation 

We will not clean carpet in any home or facility that has an obvious bug or rodent infestation, for example bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas, lice, mice, rats.

Slip & Trip Hazards 

When walking through areas where our hoses or equipment might be in the walkway or on recently cleaned carpets, rugs or hard surfaces, please be careful not to slip or trip. We are not responsible for injuries that might result.

Moving Furniture 

We typically do not move furniture. If you would like light to medium weight furniture moved (up to 50lbs), we can discuss it in advance. Though we will take every precaution to safely move your furniture, we are not responsible for damages that might result from the move.

Pet Odors 

Pet urine penetration is an issue for carpets, the pad, and the subfloor. Typical cleaning of carpets will not remove pet urine odors. Discuss the odor issues you have in advance so we can properly quote pre-treatments required. We do not guarantee complete odor or stain removal results.

House Pets 

Please place your pet(s) in a safe location where they will not escape out of an open door, become agitated by the activity, or become aggressive toward the Cleaner.

Traffic Lanes & Black Sole Shoe Stains 

Traffic lane and/or soilage occurs from: fabric wear, black sole shoe stains, asphalt, pH staining, and/or embedded soils. We will do our best to leave the carpet looking the best as possible but cannot guarantee complete traffic lane soil removal.

Dry Time 

Several contributing factors affect dry time: level of moisture and humidity, air movement, and thickness of carpet and pad. Dirtier and thicker carpets require increased water usage, leading to longer dry times. Average dry time runs 6-8 hours. Discuss fan rentals with us if you anticipate this condition.

Spots & Stains 

During our pre-inspection, please point out all the spots and stains you are concerned about. We will pre-treat and clean your carpets to see if the spot(s) come out. Any spot remaining is considered a stain. Stain removal is charged separately; be advised some stains are permanent. We cannot fully remove stains resulting from paint, varnish, black shoe soles, filtration stains along baseboards, dyes, inks, rust, burns or other substances known to produce permanent staining. If you agree to our attempt to remove such stains, we do not guarantee complete removal or satisfaction. Use of over-the-counter spot removers may result in discoloration of carpet fiber that our cleaning process cannot remove or may reveal. We can make no guarantee these discolorations can be removed.

Hair 

Carpet, rug, and furniture cleaning excludes 100% hair removal. Hair acts like Velcro to the carpet fibers and requires excessive vacuuming before and after the cleaning. We can make no guarantee to remove pet or human hair from your carpet.

Carpet Cleaning Results 

While we do not guarantee to remove all soils, spots, and stains from your carpet, we make every possible effort to provide the best cleaning experience possible. Please note the following: Do not place wood or metal furniture on damp carpet, as stain-bleed or rust can occur. Cleaning may reveal loose or improperly installed carpets, revealing bubbles or ripples-this is not a result of the cleaning, and carpets will usually lay flat after several days’ time.

Prior to our arrival 

Please have your personal items as well as items of value appropriately stored away. Please have small furniture and personal items such as magazines, clothing, toys, shoes, etc. off the floor unless you do not want us to clean under them.

Vacant or Unchaperoned Homes or Facilities 

As owner, landlord, tenant, or agent of the owner, landlord, or tenant, you release NVS Floor Care Professionals, LLC from service complaints or claims of damage to your home or facility when you agree to allow us to be in your home or facility without your presence. We will take every step possible to care for your property.
